Festival week in Boulder.
Your event stays private.
Discreet aerial overwatch for private dinners, after-parties, and rented estates in Boulder County during the 2027 Sundance Film Festival, coordinated with your ground security team. Limited dates available.
Who this is for
Hosts, publicists, and security leads.
Visiting talent and executives bring photographers, curious crowds, and uninvited guests. Aerial overwatch gives your security lead a live view of the perimeter and approaches so the team on the ground can stay close to your guests.
Winter night thermal
Late-January evenings get dark early and cold. Thermal imaging makes people and vehicles stand out clearly against snow and frozen ground.
Conditions permittingLive video to your team
A real-time feed to your security lead's phone, tablet, or command post, where connectivity allows.
Quoted separatelyAdvance site survey
A visit before festival week to plan launch points, airspace, coverage, and communications with your team.
Strongly recommendedPlan early
Boulder airspace takes time.
Some Boulder-area locations need FAA authorization, and temporary flight restrictions can appear for large events. City of Boulder open space does not allow drone launches, so every flight launches from private property with the owner's permission.

These commitments apply to every overwatch assignment. See our full overwatch service.

Private events only
We support private events and properties. We do not fly over festival venues, public screenings, crowds, or public streets, and we do not follow people or vehicles off the client's property. Flights depend on airspace access, weather, wind, cold-weather battery limits, and safe operating conditions. Continuous coverage is not guaranteed.
Credentials
Led by founder and Chief Pilot D. Cristopher Benner, an AUVSI TOP Level 3 certified pilot with 20+ years of search and rescue. Every pilot is a vetted, background-checked FAA Part 107 pilot with search and rescue and incident command experience, bound by a confidentiality agreement. Fully insured. Aerial overwatch supports your ground security and does not replace on-site security or law enforcement.
